- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance or any related field. - CPA or other accounting and finance certification preferred. - At least 5 years in accounting and / or financial consulting including supervisory experience. - Experience working in an international organization, preferably in an NGO - Experience working with microfinance - Excellent Command of written and verbal English. - Direct experience in the project or grant accounting - Working Knowledge of accounting software, QuickBooks and Sun Systems or similar programs - Advanced skills in the use of spreadsheets, worksheets, word – Processing programs and the internet - Advanced skills in information Systems, software installation, Computer based training and support - Cross cultural Management skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Willingness to uphold the Christian principles of HFHI Interactions (with others to exchange information, opinions, and concerns to resolve problems. Description should include the level of problem solving (basic to complex), how much supervision is required to implement change and whether these actions required interpretation of established policies and procedures.)
